Crowds of tourists prevail in Florence, Italy, so it helps to be tall. Actually, I am not so tall that I towered over all these heads: I held up my camera. And just long enough to capture this perspective with a telephoto that compressed all the old arches. I took the shot then got out of there. My perspective on Florence is - avoid it in August.
