Floral compositions adorn windows in Europe in ways we rarely see in North America. The creative occupants of this home in the medieval Italian city, Montefioralle in Chianti, live right next door to the house of 15th C Florentine explorer, Amerigo Vespucci.
About Gary Karlsen
Gary Karlsen is a writer and amateur photographer. His rich and varied travels have included sailing the oceans of world on deep-sea freighters, circumnavigating North America by thumb, riding the rails across Canada, flying single engine airplanes into mountain lakes, traveling half the globe as a merchant mariner, and speaking at international conferences as an educator.
