Artist's Description
The confluence of the Rhone and Saone rivers at the city of Lyon, France, forms the peninsula known as, Presque�ile. This is the heart of Lyon. Place Bellecour is a massive public square in the 2nd arrondissement. Rue Victor Hugo runs from the southwest side of the square down to Place Carnot and ends a the train station.
About Gary Karlsen
Gary Karlsen is a writer and amateur photographer. His rich and varied travels have included sailing the oceans of world on deep-sea freighters, circumnavigating North America by thumb, riding the rails across Canada, flying single engine airplanes into mountain lakes, traveling half the globe as a merchant mariner, and speaking at international conferences as an educator.
