From the lookout near the top of the road on Cypress Mountain there are stunning views of the city of Vancouver, with wide panoramas from the east to Burnaby Mountain, south to Mt Baker, and west over to the Gulf Islands and Vancouver Island.
About Gary Karlsen
Gary Karlsen is a writer and amateur photographer. His rich and varied travels have included sailing the oceans of world on deep-sea freighters, circumnavigating North America by thumb, riding the rails across Canada, flying single engine airplanes into mountain lakes, traveling half the globe as a merchant mariner, and speaking at international conferences as an educator.
