My four images of the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles represent only a few of its many points of view available to the photographer who loves to capture angles, curves, shadows and texture in architecture.

Happenstance can lead to rewards: on a recent photoshoot of downtown LA I discovered this brilliant edifice that I later learned was designed by Frank Gehry, "the most important architect of our age” (Vanity Fair).

The odd arrangement of gigantic brushed stainless steel panels, curved like sails in the wind caught my eye from a few blocks away, and in the short twenty minutes I had available I photographed only the exterior front of the building on the corner of 1st Avenue and Grand Street. My goal is to return with much more time on my hands to further explore the magic of this architectural masterpiece, both inside and out.
